Dandelion Series
I started this series on a whim one day while trying to take pictures that displayed the concept of color theory. As a student at Randolph Community College I took design classes. In design class we were taught color theory and the role colors played when placed together. While shooting that day I noticed a dandelion growing beside some green painted bricks. Yellow and green fall under the theory for harmony. I then found myself walking around with a dandelion, photographing it in front of different colors of different shades. It has become a never ending series of mine and a favorite of mine. I hope you will enjoy looking at these photos and enjoy the role that color plays in our daily lives.
