Christmas Light Abstracts
One thing that photography has bestowed upon me is the gift of youth. It keeps my mind from growing old. The wonder and amazement I had as a child while watching critters in the woods still flows through me when I photograph the flight of a raptor today. And so rings true with every Christmas. As a child I impatiently anticipated the coming of Christmas every year. And now as an adult I am still giddy with glee upon the holidays that bestow the color saturated Christmas tree lights and downtown window lights. These annually lighted scenes are lights paintings yearning to be explored. Each swirl of my camera for prolonged exposures creates dreamworld photographic tales for the imagination.
